Rooted & Restored Collaborative: an Indigenous Collaborative supporting culturally responsive healing

Healing begins with understanding history, culture, and the resources that shape identity and community.

We Provide

Rooted & Restored Collaborative partners with behavioral health facilities, community-based organizations, and Tribal programs to implement culturally informed, culturally responsive programming. Our work addresses intergenerational and historical trauma by integrating Indigenous knowledge systems and traditional healing practices alongside contemporary, evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Grounded in Indigenous healing traditions, our approach is designed to support Indigenous, globally Indigenous, and other historically marginalized communities across a range of care and community settings. Drawing upon decades of combined professional and lived experience in program development, cultural engagement, and community outreach, we deliver relationship-driven programming that is adaptable and structured for long-term impact. Our work consistently supports improved engagement, retention, and completion outcomes within the systems we serve.

Cultural engagement at Rooted & Restored is approached ethically and with clear boundaries. Our work supports individuals from diverse backgrounds in reconnecting to their own heritage, identity, and cultural context as a foundation for healing—recognizing that cultural disconnection affects many communities as a result of colonization, displacement, and systemic harm. Culture is engaged respectfully and appropriately, guided by community-informed practice rather than treated as a commodity or one-size-fits-all solution.

Our culturally grounded model is also designed to support broader systems serving these communities, including county and public health programs, community re-entry and justice-impacted populations, and other institutional or community-based wellness programs.
